The American Cocker Spaniel is a serviceable-looking dog with a refined chiseled head, strong, well boned legs, well up at the shoulder, a compact sturdy body, with wide muscular quarters and well balanced. The American Cocker Spaniel is merry, free, sound and keen to work and is even tempered with no suggestion of timidity.
